Vigil Tonight For Linden Cop Killed By Train
Linden Police are inviting anyone who knew Officer Daniel Kuczynski to join them for a candlelight vigil in his memory at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

LINDEN, NJ — The Linden Police Department and Linden PBA Local #42 invite all those who knew Officer Daniel Kuczynski and were touched by his generosity to join them for a candlelight vigil in his memory at 7 p.m. tonight.
Kuczynski was killed after being struck by a train while on the tracks near Stiles Street in Linden early Monday morning.
Kuczynski, who was off duty at the time of the incident, served as the director of the Linden Police Athletic League for the past nine years.

“As police officers, we strive to make a difference, and through his work Danny had a profound impact on our city’s children,” Linden Police Chief Jonathan Parham said. “We ask that you keep Danny's family, friends and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers as we deal with this painful loss. He will be missed.”
The vigil will be held on Tuesday, June 13 in Dobson Park, next to the PAL Building.
