Westfield 2021 Summer Camp Guide

WESTFIELD, NJ — After a year when too many traditions have had to be canceled for coronavirus safety, summer camps for kids are back on this year. The state has issued updated guidance on how these camps can safely operate during the coronavirus pandemic here.

There are several options to keep the kids busy this summer around Hoboken, including arts camps, sports camps, school-sponsored camps, camps run by your day care, and more.

Here's a look at the camps planned around Hoboken for summer 2021. Click on the links for updated registration information:

Summer Day Camp At The Westfield Area YMCA: "Your child will enjoy a variety of activities with friends, exploring math, science, reading, writing, arts, sports, nature and outdoor environment, and global diversity," says the website. "Our camp curriculum promotes teamwork, enhances self-esteem and build skills while incorporating the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and meet up to 300 standards for health, safety and program quality. Staff receive over 20 hours of pre-camp training including certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid with EpiPen administration, asthma inhaler training, anti-bullying prevention, behavior management, child abuse awareness and much more. Lightbridge Academy in Westfield: The center notes, "Our state-of-the-art child care center is currently enrolling for our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K and Summer Camp programs. We look forward to meeting you and your precious little one!" It's located at 751 Central Ave. Find out more here.
