Westfield Board of Education Election Numbers Updated
Here are the numbers showing how your neighbors voted in the school board race, the marijuana public question, and presidential election.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Union County Clerk posted updated (but still unofficial as now) numbers Monday afternoon in the Westfield Board of Education election, with 100 percent of districts reporting.
While most of the numbers appear to be in, the clerk has updated them twice since Tuesday as more mail-in ballots were counted. Certification of the results will take place by Nov. 20.

How Union County voted: President and marijuana
Tuesday's elections drew an impressive 41 percent of registered voters in Union County, with 152,634 people voting out of 372,854.
With 100 percent of districts reporting:
In Union County, 70 percent of the votes, or 119,057, went for President-Elect Joe Biden. Another 29 percent of the votes, or 49,663, were for President Donald Trump. Libertarian Jo Jorgensen won 759 votes, and a write-in candidate grabbed 623. Other third party candidates got around 700 total.
For the vote to legalize marijuana usage, about 68 percent of Union County voters, or 100,442, were in favor. 47,354 voted no.
