Westfield Graduate Earns All-America Rowing Honor
Hamilton College women's rower Ann-Sophie Koglin was selected for the 2018 Pocock Collegiate Rowing Association All-America Team.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield High School graduate and Hamilton College women's rower Ann-Sophie Koglinhas been selected for the 2018 Pocock Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Division III All-America Team.
Koglin of Westfield is set to graduate in 2020.
Koglin is one of eight rowers on the second team and one of 17 Division III all-Americans. Koglin, who is receiving this honor for the first time, is the Hamilton women's rowing program's fourth different all-American and seventh selection overall.

Koglin rowed in the sixth seat for the varsity 8, which ended the season ranked eighth in the Division III Top 15 coaches poll and finished in first place in the petite final at the 2018 National Invitational Rowing Championships. She was placed on the 2018 NESCAC Women's Rowing All-Conference Team.
To be eligible for all-America selection, the student-athlete must have rowed in at least 75 percent of the season's races in the varsity boat, and the head coach of the student-athlete's institution must be a member in good standing of the CRCA.

Criteria considered for selection include: Boat performance, nomination rank, coach's comments, individual achievements and 2,000-kilometer erg score.
