WESTFIELD, NJ — As with many holiday activities amid the coronavirus pandemic, the annual Hanukkah menorah lighting in Westfield will be held virtually this year.

The event will be streamed live on the town's Facebook page at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday.

It will be held in conjunction with the Union County Torah Center-Chabad. Due to COVID restrictions, this is a virtual event and officials have asked the community not to attend in person, just as they did with the lighting of the town Christmas tree.
