Westfield Student Wins Poster Contest

A senior at Westfield High School has won a Musical Club of Westfield poster contest.

Claudia Savickas’ artwork was chosen “for the program cover of the Club’s Centennial Concert scheduled for Sunday, November 22,” according to the district’s website.

Claudia is a student of Westfield High School teacher Annora Happe-Conway.

She won a $200 prize for her poster.

That Nov. 22 scholarship concert is open to the public and will celebrate the club’s 100th year. It will be held at the First Baptist Church, 170 Elm St.
