Westfield Volleyball Team Launches PINK OUT Fundraiser

WESTFIELD, NJ - For the eleventh straight year the Westfield High School girls’ volleyball teams are hosting a PINK OUT Fundraiser where all proceeds are directly benefiting Susan G. Komen of North Jersey.

The vent is scheduled for Friday and organizers describe it as a family-filled full of three exciting volleyball games, a silent auction/tricky tray, contests for the whole family, a food court and a very special ceremony to honor those affected by breast cancer.

Organizers said the contest will feature the Westfield High School girls’ volleyball teams taking on Bridgewater-Raritan:

  • 4 p.m. – Freshman Team
  • 5:30 p.m. – Junior Varsity Team
  • 7 p.m. – Varsity Team

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Westfield High School girls’ volleyball team said they are making the first step towards a world without breast cancer by raising funds to stop this disease that affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime.

The event is set for the Westfield High School Gym at 550 Dorian Road.
