Westfield's Bravest To Body Check Cancer Out Of The Rink
Westfield Police will battle it out against Westfield Firefighters in a charity hockey game to help Tara Hannan who is battling cancer.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Police Department will battle it out on the ice against the Westfield Fire Department in a charity hockey game to help Westfield resident and Rahway Police Officer, Tara Hannan.
Hannan is battling an aggressive form of stage 4 breast cancer. The goal of the Second Annual WPD vs WFD Spring Classic Charity Hockey Game is to assist the Hannan family in their time of need.
The event will be held on June 2 at Union Sports Arena and is sponsored by the Rahway PBA 31, Westfield PBA 90, Westfield FMBA #30 and the Handwerker Family. Tickets are $10 and be purchased here.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go towards mounting medical expenses and medical retirement for Hannan.
