Westfield's Sweet Sounds Concerts Start Tuesday On 3 Stages
In the Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival, musicians of all genres perform on three stages each Tuesday evening in Westfield.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The first night of the 24th Annual Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival, sponsored by Downtown Westfield Corporation, is this Tuesday. The direct link to the summer lineup and map of performers is here.
This year the festival will be featuring not just jazz, but also rock and roll, country music and other music genres. The music can be enjoyed at three downtown venues: 137 Central Ave. (by Turning Point Restaurant), 125 Quimby St. (corner of Quimby St. and Elm St.), and 439 South Ave. W. (Foundation Park).
The festival runs 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with rain dates the next Wednesday of each week.

Quimby Street will be pedestrian-only for special opening and closing celebrations of the Sweet Sounds Music Festival on July 6 and Aug. 31.
July 6 will feature the sounds of Swing Town Big Band. The season finale on August 31 will feature a special “Country on Quimby” concert performed by Nikki Briar and the Sweet Briar Band complete with line dancing.

The Sweet Sounds Downtown Music Festival is made possible with the help of Turning Point Restaurant, Right Choice Realty, the Westfield Department of Public Works and the Westfield Police Department.
“Music fills the streets from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Tuesday, so bring the whole family and enjoy a night of great music, fun, dining and desserts,” said Bob Zuckerman, DWC Executive Director. “We are thrilled to be able to bring Sweet Sounds back after a hiatus year during the pandemic, and we hope to see many visitors and Westfielders there!”
Open Quimby, Downtown Westfield's popular pedestrian plaza, will host more events, outdoor dining, and live music over this weekend.
