What's Westfield Doing For The Super Bowl?
Local establishments are offering "tailgate takeout" packages and noting the new indoor dining rules. The game kicks off at 6:30 Sunday.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Restaurants in and around Westfield have been finding ways to promote their offerings in advance of the 2021 Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Fla., slated for Feb. 7. 6:30 p.m. The game will air on CBS.
With Gov. Phil Murphy lifting the coronavirus curfew on bars starting Friday, restaurants have more time to serve their customers. Restaurants can also allow 35 percent capacity indoors. Read more: Gov. Murphy To Loosen NJ's Indoor COVID-19 Rules

Addams Tavern on Elm Street offers catering packages for this Sunday that include shrimp cocktail, assorted cookies, cheeses, wings, and pulled pork, as well as beers and a Bloody Mary kit that serves 12-15 drinks.
Perhaps no one is more excited for the weekend than Lion's Roar Brewery, set to open in Westfield this weekend. They're taking table reservations now.

Hat Tavern in Summit touted super snacks for takeout, from shrimp cocktail, housemade hummus, to brownies, as well as indoor finger food including wings and pulled pork.
Millburn Standard on Main Street noted that they have "over a dozen TV's to watch the game" and a quiet dining room to avoid it, but there are also "Super Bowl catering packages to enjoy in the comfort of your own home!" The eatery is already taking pre-orders for Super Bowl packages, and they offer a Tailgate Package every day.
Over in Maplewood, Pickett's Village Bar isn't playing around. "What is it about wings and football?" they asked on social media this week. "Ours are 50 for $50 on Super Bowl Sunday — Buffalo, Teriyaki or BBQ — along with $15 bar pies and $30 growlers." They can be ordered now for pickup on Sunday. They also have family-style meals every day.
