A local woman captured the pet in Tamaques Park and is looking for its owner.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Perhaps he was looking for an egg hunt and got confused.

A male white rabbit was found ambling through Tamaques Park in Westfield on Thursday afternoon. Now, the rescuer, Lara Wolf, is hop-ing his owner will claim him.

"I can’t keep him," she told Patch. "I have two rabbits already!"

Lara's friend posted on Westfield Patch on Thursday, "Found [Thursday] at around 4:00. White rabbit hopping around looking domestic and adorable. We caused a small traffic jam trying to catch it. Now it's safe...."
