Wind Advisory In Effect In Union County Until Monday Evening
"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," the NWS says. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result."

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Following a day of rain on Sunday, Monday will be clear but windy, the National Weather Service says. On Sunday night, the NWS issued a wind advisory until Monday at 6 p.m. for northeast New Jersey (including Union County), southern Connecticut, and southeast New York.
They predict "West winds 20 to 30 m.p.h. with gusts 45 to 55 m.p.h. A few gusts up to 60 m.p.h. may be possible. The strongest winds are expected late tonight into Monday morning."

They advise, "Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects."

The forecast for Union County
The forecast is:
- Monday: Sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a west wind 18 to 23 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 43 m.p.h.
- Monday night: Clear, with a low around 36. Northwest wind 5 to 8 m.p.h. becoming calm in the evening.
- Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 66. Light and variable wind becoming south 6 to 11 m.p.h. in the morning.
Rain is expected to return Wednesday.
