Free Concerts for Area Residents
Wondering what you can do locally that's fun and free?
Well starting this weekend, you can check out two free local concerts by talented performers who have entertained nationally and internationally. Hosted by the Montvale Library (12 Mercedes Drive, Montvale, NJ), both events are free and open to the public, including Hillsdale and Westwood residents.

Jiayi He, a world-class harmonica virtuoso and former contestant on America's Got Talent, will be performing a wide range of classical selections and standards from Beethoven to Gershwin while showing off his collection of more than 300 harmonicas. His performance goes beyond the music itself because he is very interactive with his audiences.

"Americana" Concert by The Mountain Oysters Band on Thursday, July 12, 7-8PM
The Mountain Oysters Band has been entertaining Bergen, Rockland and Connecticut audiences for years with its unique “Americana” style of music. The divine Miss Emily Eastwick, on bass fiddle and autoharp, together with "Wild Bill" Jones, on guitar and singing vocals, will perform a mixture of songs from Elvis, Buddy Holly, Dion, the Beatles, as well as traditional bluegrass and country classics all rearranged in the unique “Mountain Oyster” fashion that the band's audiences have come to look forward to and enjoy.
Come listen and enjoy Wild Bill and the Mountain Oysters on Thursday, July 12, 7-8PM, at the Montvale Library, 12 Mercedes Drive, Montvale, NJ. Be prepared for some musical surprises while having some good fun.
