16 Arrested In Suffolk DWI Patrols Labor Day Weekend: Police
Suffolk police conducted the traffic enforcement operations across the county during the holiday weekend.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Sixteen people were arrested for driving drunk or driving while on drugs during Labor Day weekend traffic enforcement operations across Suffolk County, police said.
Officers conducted the DWI patrols near several downtown areas in the county, including Patchogue, Huntington and Smithtown.
The following people were charged with DWI:

- Paul Jackson, 58, of Islip
- George Cruz, Jr., 58, of Babylon
- Andrew Leavey, 26, of Selden
- Juan Fuentes, 30, of Central Islip
- Jessica Lugo, 30, of North Babylon
- Fabian Gomez-Perez, 26, of Patchogue
- Allison Leblanc, 31, of Huntington
- Dennis Fernandez-Tapia, 31, of Brentwood
- Cesar Lopez-Hernandez, 33, of East Patchogue
- Fermin Moralez-Gomez, 22, of Copiague
- Fabricio Espinoza-Cisneros, 25, of Huntington Station
- Elias Rivera-Mendez, 33, of Brentwood
Zafir Hai, 30, of Centereach, was charged with DWI and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
Madison Donovan, 20, of Centereach, was charged with driving while ability impaired-combined drugs/alcohol, police said.

Kevin Garcia, 18, of Brentwood, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Scott Holmgren, 38, of Dix Hills, was charged with aggravated DWI with a child passenger 15-years-old or younger under Leandra’s Law, DWI and endangering the welfare of a child.
All those arrested have been or will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip.
