59 LIRR Employees Made Over $250K In 2019: New Payroll Data
Ten LIRR workers made at least $300,000 in 2019, according to the payroll data from the Empire Center for Public Policy.

LONG ISLAND, NY — A total of 59 LIRR employees earned more than $250,000 in 2019, according to payroll data released by the Empire Center for Public Policy.
Of those, 10 LIRR workers topped $300,000 in compensation. Compared to 2018, 77 workers made at least $250,000 and 20 made at least $300,000. In 2014, no employees made more than $300,000.
LIRR President Phillip Eng moved up to No. 1 on the 2019 list compared to No. 24 in 2018.
