If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Babylon Animal Shelter.

One of their available pets is Royal, a 5-year-old pit bill terrier.

Arrived 12/6/17 at 5 years old. Royal is a great girl. She really wants nothing more then a pal to hang out with and love on her. Royal is gentle, mellow and sweet, she walks well on a leash. She does enjoy her toys, but right now she is on restricted activity. Royal tested positive for Heartworm. She is currently getting her pre-treatment for Heartworm. She will need to be on restricted activity for several months into the future. Royal would be just fine with that plan because she is just as happy to lean in for lots of petting and comfort. Royal is an old soul trapped in a not old body. She looks like she has been through hell, but she has many great years ahead of her.
