Babylon High School Track Stars Recognized for Success at NYSPHSAA Division II Track and Field Championships

Babylon High School students and track stars Colin Godfrey and Ashley Lucas were recognized for their athletic achievements during the district’s mid-June Board of Education meeting. 

At this year’s NYSPHSAA Division II Track and Field Championships, Colin earned third place in the long jump, placed tenth in the high jump and took home All-State Honors. Ashley placed third in the 100-meter dash, fifth place in the 200-meter dash and also took home All-State Honors, along with the Good Sportsmanship Award.

The District’s administration, members of the Board of Education and the school’s athletic department congratulated the winning track starts for their outstanding post-season honors and presented them with certificates of recognition.
