Sixth-graders at the Babylon Memorial Grade School celebrated their moving up ceremony to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance.”
The students were welcomed warmly by Principal Steve Goldberg before other administrators expressed well wishes, including Superintendent of Schools Richard Rozakis, PTA President Dina Molinaro, and Officer George Lynagh, who sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the crowd.
During the ceremony, students joined together in song to sing the school’s alma mater and the symphonic band performed “Cardiff Castle.”
