Babylon Residents Chime in on Which Places Need a Facelift

On Monday we asked people which building or storefront that is getting a little long in the tooth. The biggest vote getter was the South Bay Theater. Many chimed in with other suggestions. Here are some of what people said on Facebook and the website about which buildings might be in need on a facelift:

Rebecca Renee: I wish the plumber's shop would get the toilet out of the window lol

Patty Salomides Vorilas: Rebecca I swear I was going to say the one with the toilet in the window. LOl

Jacqueline Di Donato: Not Pandemonium ~ it looks beautiful;)

Nina Araujo: No complaints in the Village, but just Walk a few blocks west and please demo the South Bay Theatre.

Sandi Wood Breuninger: The Babylon theatre..it's an eyesore..

Alice Hudson: It's a beautiful village. I miss it so much.

Kristin Pearsall Costigan: The building across the from fancy lee would be an amazing space for retail... Or anything more than an abandoned building!

Paul: One of the worst storefronts in the village is the plumbing contractor. We should have higher standards than that for our local residents. we live in a beautiful village which we have a lot of pride. The tenants of the town should show the same.

Jennifer Powers: South Bay Movie Theater on the WWest Babylon/Babylon boarderline. The movie "Despicable Me" as playing there and I thought it was the description of the building. How appropriate.
