Babylon Village Hosts 'Plein Air' Paint Night At Conklin House
The event attendees will learn how to paint the barn at sunset during an outdoor session.

BABYLON, NY —The Babylon Village Arts Council and the Conklin House are teaming up to offer a new paint night this month. The outdoor plein air painting lesson will take place on the Conklin House Green, and attendees will pain the Conklin House barn at sunset.
The event is scheduled for June 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. The $25 fee covers all the painting material. Registration is online.
The artist Tom Finn will lead the paint night. The barn on the historic house site was built in 2002 to exactly match an authentic working barn of the time period from Old Bethpage Restoration. The Conklin House and barn show Babylon's history as a small farming and fishing community.
