Extended Hours For Thursday's Babylon Block Party

BABYLON VILLAGE, NY - Good news for those who want to make the most of the last week of summer — the Babylon block party has extended its hours for the next event this week.

The third block party is scheduled for this Thursday, August 29 starting at 5 p.m. Normally the party ends at 9 p.m. but this week, the block party will go on until 10 p.m., the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce announced.

Attendees will now have an extra hour to check out some of the local restaurants, shop at local stores and dance to some live music.

After this week, the last festival of the summer is scheduled for September 12.
