Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Long Island
BREAKING: It could be a slick ride to work Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook as heavy rain plus plunging temperatures could lead to "patchy" black ice beginning Sunday evening on Long Island.
The temperature will rise into the mid-50s by noon, but then begin to fall through the 30s as the day progresses, all the way down to 22 degrees by 6 a.m. Monday.
Rain, potentially heavy at times with a possible thunderstorm, are likely Sunday. As temperatures drop, residual moisture on untreated surfaces will freeze, the NWS says.
