Holiday Festivities To Kick Off In Babylon Village This Week

BABYLON, NY — The holidays will be just as festive this year in Babylon Village — even with new guidelines due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The festivities will kick off this Friday with a modified version of the Old Fashioned Night of Shopping.

This year will feature a Santa car parade starting at 5:30 p.m. traveling north on Deer Park Ave. from Main Street to George Street.

Then until 9 p.m., guests can shop for holiday specials at local businesses while also enjoying treats at local restaurants and eateries.

Facial coverings will be required and businesses will follow COVID-19 guidelines.
