ICYMI: Babylon Village Elects New Mayor

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared earlier this week in the Babylon Patch

BABYLON VILLAGE, NY — Babylon Village trustees appointed a new mayor following the death of Ralph Scordino last week.

On Friday, officials held a special meeting and appointed trustee Mary Adams mayor by a unanimous vote. Adams was sworn in, followed by a moment of silence for Scordino.

Adams became the village's first woman to serve as mayor.
