Man Shot To Death While Sitting In Parked Car In West Babylon: PD
The shooting occurred Sunday night, police said.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A Roosevelt man was shot to death in his car in West Babylon Sunday night, according to Suffolk police.
Daniel Smith, 32, was sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked car on Schenectady Avenue, just south of Essex Street, when he was hit by multiple gunshots fired from outside the car at 11:15 p.m., police said.
The shooter ran away before officers arrived at the scene, police said.

Smith was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
