Mildred Allen, Former Babylon Community Choir Member, Passes Away

Mildred "Millie" Allen, a former member of the Babylon Community Choir, passed away on November 2.

She was 88 years old.

Born and raised in North Grafton, Massachusetts, Allen moved to Brightwaters and worked in the Bay Shore School District as a secretary for ten years during the late 1950's and early 1960's.

She was a member of the Babylon Community Choir while living in Brightwaters, as well as a soloist in many area churches.

A wake will be held on November 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Roney Funeral Home in North Grafton, MA. A graveside service will be held on November 7 at 10 a.m. at the Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton, MA.
