THE MICHAEL JAZZ TRIO

The Michael Jazz Trio is a group of young musicians who have been performing together for a number of years. Some of their notable performances include: guest artists at the Long Island Winterfest Jazz on the Vine Series – held at various North Fork Vineyards; the Great South Festival; Cafe Wah in New York City; the Friars Club Roast of honoree Larry King; Toast in Port Jefferson; opening for guitarist Jeff Golub, and more. In addition, they are multiple winners of Amateur Night at the world famous Apollo Theater.

Their musical influences include Yanni, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Frank Sinatra, Coltrane and Sade. Whether they’re playing jazz standards or original compositions, their music has been described as “mesmerizing, foot stomping, energetic, funky and phenomenal.” Their talent, range and versatility amaze everyone who hears them!
