New Collectibles Shop Opens In Babylon Village
Meet the owner of the new business that opened last month in Babylon.

BABYLON, NY — After having to delay the opening of his new business for a few months due to the coronavirus, Lindenhurst resident Jerzy Wronski finally opened a new collectibles shop in Babylon Village last month. Babylon Collectibles was originally scheduled to open on 225 Deer Park Avenue back in March, but once the pandemic hit, the store opening was delayed until June 10.
While this isn't Wronski's first business venture, it is the first one of this kind and the first he got to design in the way he has always wanted — "a cool collectibles store in a cool village." The 50-year-old store owner said he has been collecting as hobby from an early age and as he got older, dealing with collectibles became his passion.
"For several years buying and selling antiques, comics, coins and vintage collectibles was a side gig but having a collectibles store was always a dream," he said. "The time has come and Babylon Collectibles was born."
