The back edge of rain will work across the area the next few hours, with brief localized heavy rainfall, poor visibilities, and ponding of water on area roadways. Motorists are advised to be alert for rapidly changing conditions and be prepared to slow down.

Here's the full forecast:

Monday- Showers, mainly before 3pm. High near 71. Northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Monday Night- A 30 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 64. Northeast wind 5 to 13 mph.

Tuesday- A 20 percent chance of showers before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Northeast wind 9 to 11 mph.

Tuesday Night- Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. East wind 9 to 11 mph.

Wednesday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Northeast wind around 9 mph.
