Special Weather Statement Issued for Suffolk County

The National Weather Service has issued the following special weather statement for Suffolk County:

WIDESPREAD FOG...WITH POCKETS OF DENSE FOG...WILL AFFECT SUFFOLK COUNTY AND COASTAL CT THROUGH 4 PM. VISIBILITIES IN AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL BE REDUCED TO 1/4 OR LESS. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING. CONDITIONS SHOULD GRADUALLY IMPROVE LATER IN THE AFTERNOON AS A WARM FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA.
