Stop & Shop Celebrates Grand Reopening of West Babylon Store

Remodeled Store Features a Fresh New Look, Enhanced Bakery Department and More Freshly Prepared Foods for Easy Meals on-the-Go

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, today unveiled its newly remodeled store in West Babylon, NY (365 Rt 109).

The store, which opened its doors in 2004, is now noticeably brighter and more modern. The store not only has a new look, but it also has new features that are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier.

· New grab-and-go meal solutions including a new hot foods bar featuring entrees and sides, as well as sushi made fresh in-store daily

· Flatbread pizza station where customers can have a flatbread pizza baked fresh to order

· Expanded ethnic product assortment including additional Hispanic and Middle Eastern offerings.

· An enhanced bakery department complete with a new service case filled with delicious cakes, cupcakes and other treats

· Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available

“We’re excited to share our newly remodeled store with our local shoppers,” said Lindsey Shapiro, Store Manager of Stop & Shop West Babylon. “We’ve added more of what our customers want and upgrades they need to get their shopping done faster and get back to what matters most.”

Joining West Babylon’s reveal is Stop & Shop Huntington, which underwent similar renovations. Earlier this month, Stop & Shop also announced the grand reopening of its Glen Cove store and will unveil its remodeled Port Washington location on December 18th. The company also opened a new store in Woodmere in late October.

To celebrate the remodeled store, Stop & Shop will donate $1,000 and $500 in Nature’s Promise® natural and organic products to Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church Food Pantry. Shoppers can also look forward to a weekend of giveaways and samples, while supplies last.
