Drivers and pedestrians had to wrestle with a water main break and snow the past two days.
Babylon residents near Park Avenue have certainly had their share of challenges navigating the local roads.
A water main broke on Park Avenue early Monday morning, sending water gushing down the street, and the village was hit with more snow early Tuesday.
The Suffolk County Police Department received a 911 call about a water main break on Park Avenue at 5:56 a.m. Monday and Suffolk County Water Authority was notified, according to the police department’s public information office. Meanwhile, four inches of fresh powder fell on the village early Tuesday, as temperatures remain in the high teens, low 20s.
