Tooker Celebrates No Name Calling Week
Students wear clothes backwards as part of school-sponsored activities.

Tooker Avenue students in the West Babylon School District celebrated the annual No Name Calling Week with a variety of school-sponsored activities.
Each day commenced with teachers reading a “No Name Calling Pledge,” and parents were encouraged to recite the pledge with children as well. During one of the school-sponsored activities students wore their clothing backwards to symbolize the theme, “Words Can Hurt and You Can’t Take Them Back.”
