Tropical Storm Warning Canceled for Suffolk County as Hermine Weakens
BREAKING: So long, Hermine. Check out some wind reports from Monday, when gusts did reach tropical storm-force on parts of the island.

A tropical storm warning for Suffolk County has now been canceled as Post-Tropical Cyclone Hermine weakens.
"Based on satellite imagery and surface observations, the risk of tropical storm-force winds reaching the coastline appears now to be minimal," the National Hurricane Center said in its 2 p.m. Tuesday update.
A slow and erratic motion, possibly including a cusp or a loop, is likely for Hermine during the next 24 hours, the NHC said. The storm will still bring some showers and gusty winds, and possible minor flooding, to the region the rest of Tuesday and Wednesday.
