Two People Arrested In Connection With West Babylon Shooting
Geoffrey Tobin, 19 and Miranda Mugavero, 20, were arrested for the shooting of Thomas Barbal in West Babylon, police said.

Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting that injured a man in West Babylon Monday morning, police said.
At approximately 7:50 a.m., Thomas Barbal, 20, was standing with his brother Michael in front of their home when a man driving a 1995 Toyota Celica fired shots from the car window as he drove past, police said.
Barbal was shot in the right arm and left leg and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was admitted for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A short time later, two suspects, Geoffrey Tobin, 19, and Miranda Mugavero, 20, both of North Babylon, were arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, assault, criminal use of a firearm and reckless endangerment, police said.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the First Squad at (631) 854-8152.
