The retired detective and former Babylon Village fire chief gets a warm welcome after he is released from the hospital.
BABYLON, NY — Michael Sasuk came home to a warm welcome after spending 38 days battling coronavirus. The retired New York Police Department detective and former Babylon Village fire department chief spent 20 days on a ventilator at Stony Brook Hospital.
The 55-year-old came down with the virus while working as a medic with the Babylon fire department. Watch neighbors welcome him back in this video.
