Despite the wet weather conditions, West Babylon Senior High School advanced placement biology students volunteered their time during Memorial Day weekend to clean up their community and the environment. Advanced placement biology teacher Andrea Durbin challenged the class to spend a few moments doing something good by cleaning up the trash in their neighborhood. The class is currently engaged in a conservation unit that is a part of the National Park Trust Grant, with a focus on pollution.
