The West Babylon Public Library has announced it will remain closed on Friday, January 3 after a blizzard dropped nearly a foot of snow in the area.
The library was among the last to announce an early closing on Thursday, settling for a 4 p.m. closing time only a few hours before the flakes began flying.
The library announced it will remain closed on Friday but did not announce whether Saturday could be impacted by the snowfall.
The Babylon Public Library is also closed on Friday, January 3 due to the blizzard's impact.
