West Babylon Students Learn the Power of One

During West Babylon School District’s celebration of No Name Calling Week, Santapogue students took time from their classwork to attend assemblies from the performing arts group, the Power of One.

Using colorful boxes of various sizes and colors, the performers worked with students to perform skits and participate in role play to deal with different aspects of bullying, including cyberbullying.

After the assembly, students had the opportunity to sign a poster board, pledging not to be a bully, but instead be an upstander.
