Children who will be 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2021, and will be eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2022, may participate in the lottery. The program is administered by SCOPE and will be housed at the John F. Kennedy, Santapogue and Tooker elementary schools. It is funded by the New York State Education Department through a UPK grant so there is no cost to families. Transportation must be provided by the family.

The deadline for UPK applications is Friday, June 4, at 4 p.m. and are available online at www.wbschools.org. All completed forms and required residency documentation must be submitted via email to Central Registration at WBregistration@wbschools.org, hand delivered to Registration Office 10 Farmingdale Road, West Babylon, NY 11704 or faxed to 631-376-7019.
The district will hold a virtual lottery on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 10 a.m. via Zoom, which will be posted on the district website, www.wbschools.org.
