Alley Pond Environmental Center To Reopen To Visitors
The nonprofit environmental education organization​ is reopening at limited capacity after Labor Day Weekend.

OAKLAND GARDENS, QUEENS — The Alley Pond Environmental Center is reopening to visitors after Labor Day Weekend.
The nonprofit environmental education organization will reopen at limited capacity starting Tuesday. Visitors will be required to wear masks.
The center will close to the public if a program is in session, according to a Facebook post.

Alley Pond Environmental Center halted public access to its building as New York City worked to curb COVID-19's spread, though staffers continued to tend for the center's animals during the months-long closure.
The center is temporarily located at 224-65 76th Ave., while its building on Northern Boulevard gets a renovation.
