Auburndale, Fresh Meadows Libraries To Reopen For To-Go Service
The Auburndale and Fresh Meadows libraries are among seven more Queens Public Library branches that will reopen next week.
QUEENS, NY — Northeast Queens residents will get access to a wealth of reading materials next week when two local library branches reopen for to-go service.
The Auburndale and Fresh Meadows libraries are among seven more library branches that will reopen starting Sept. 28, the Queens Public Library announced Monday.
Starting Tuesday, individuals can request books and other reading materials to pick up once the branches reopen.

The libraries in Arverne, Forest Hills, Hillcrest, Corona and Sunnyside are also reopening next week, adding to the slate of 15 library branches that have previously reopened for Queens residents to pick up and return books.
The libraries will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a one-hour closure from 1 to 2 p.m. for cleaning; from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday; and from noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday, with a one-hour closure from 3 to 4 p.m. for cleaning.
