Bayside St. Patrick's Day Parade To Return For 3rd Year
The countdown has started: Bayside will host its third annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 28.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The countdown has started: Bayside will host its third annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 28.
The parade will kick off at 11 a.m. at 36th Avenue and Bell Boulevard, then continue down to 42nd Avenue.
This year’s parade will honor the late Phil Brady, who served as an aide for the 2019 parade.

Eileen Flannelly Mackell will serve as the parade's grand marshal, and her aides are Tommy Mulvihill, John Golden, Tom Golden, Robert Lynch, Joe Donovan and Father Chris Heanue.
The 2019 parade drew about twice the number of spectators as the inaugural parade the year before, parade founder and Bayside resident Kieran Mahoney told Patch last year.

Groups marching in the 2019 parade included the Northwest Bayside Civic Association, Bayside Historical Society, the NYPD's Emerald Society, Fitzpatrick Academy of Irish Dance, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Sacred Heart Catholic Academy & Parish and the Bayside Little League.
