Bayside Tennis Tournament Brings Local Talent To The Court
Most players are college students or graduate who compete nationally.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Bayside's annual tennis tournament is set to take place this weekend at the North Shore Tennis and Racquet Club as 32 players compete for a grand prize of $1,500.
The tournament, at 32-28 214th Pl. between June 23 and June 25, will showcase mostly college students or recent graduates who have been competing in tournaments around the nation. A number of players have also participated in US Open Qualifying Tournaments. Admission is free.

Friday, June 23
- 4 p.m. – First round of matches.
Saturday, June 24

- 11 a.m. – Second round.
- 2 p.m. – Quarter Finals.
Sunday, June 25
- 11 a.m. – Semi-Finals.
- 2 p.m. – Finals.
North Shore Tennis and Racquet Club has been in Bayside for more than 100 years, according to the club.
The tournament will be broadcast live on Bayside Live TV.
