Bayside Walkathon To Raise Funds For Center For Women Of New York

BAYSIDE, QUEENS - The Center for the Women of New York is holding a walkathon at Ft. Totten Park on Saturday.

Proceeds from the event, which costs $20 to enter, will go toward the group which describes itself as a nonprofit "dedicated to providing women with the support and preparation they need to prosper in the workforce."

The 3-kilometer walk will start at the center, located at Ft. Totten Park Building 207, at 9 a.m.
