Bayside's 2nd St. Patrick's Day Parade Sees Double The Crowd
Saturday's 2nd Annual Bayside St. Patrick's Day Parade reportedly drew almost double the number of spectators as it did in 2018.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The Bayside St. Patrick's Day Parade celebrated its second year on Saturday by drawing almost twice the number of spectators as it did in 2018.
Irish step dancers and bagpipers marched down a clover-lined Bell Blvd. on Saturday for the second annual Bayside's St. Patrick's Day Parade parade. Former FDNY Chief of Department Ed Kilduff served as grand marshal, the parade's public leader.

Saturday's parade had 10 more groups participating and double the number of spectators compared to the inaugural parade last year, according to parade founder and Bayside resident Kieran Mahoney.
