Bayside's Payless Shoes Store To Close Next Month
The store is currently offering a 40 percent discount on all items.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Bayside's Payless ShoeSource will close next month, according to a representative from the discount retailer.
The store at 42-01 Bell Blvd. will close July 10, the company said. It is currently offering a 40 percent discount on all items, which include shoes, handbags and accessories.
Three other Payless stores, located in Flushing, Jackson Heights and Astoria, may also close in the coming months following negotiations, according to the company's website.

Payless had announced that it would be closing 400 of its locations after the company filed for bankruptcy a few months ago, according to USA Today.
