Bus Thief Busted Driving Stolen Ride In Bayside: NYPD
The alleged 21-year-old thief was caught red-handed behind the wheel of the bus about a dozen miles from where it was stolen, police said.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS -- A 21-year-old man suspected of stealing a bus in Westchester County was busted driving the stolen ride about a dozen miles away in Bayside, authorities said.
Antonio Quiles, of New Rochelle, was arrested Sunday evening for stealing a 2011 Ford Passenger bus from a Countywide Transportation lot in the southeast New York town, police told Patch.
Officers nabbed Quiles behind the wheel of the stolen Countywide bus near Cross Island Parkway and Northern Boulevard after they were tipped off by someone familiar with the Yonkers-based company who'd recognized the bus but not the person driving it, an NYPD spokesman said.

He was arraigned on Monday in Queens Criminal Court, where a judge ordered him to undergo a psychiatric exam, court records show. His next court date is set for Sept. 12.
The NYPD's 111th precinct released a photo of the stolen bus and congratulated its officers on the arrest in a pun-laced tweet on Monday evening.
