City Doubles Coronavirus Vaccine Appointments At Martin Van Buren
Martin Van Buren's COVID-19 vaccination site will offer about 2,000 appointments over the next several days, according to City Hall.

QUEENS VILLAGE, QUEENS — Coronavirus vaccine appointments will be doubled at Martin Van Buren High School over the next few days, after New York City's supply got a boost from the arrival of vaccine shipments delayed by last week's winter storm.
The Martin Van Buren vaccination site will offer roughly 2,000 appointments over the next several days, rather than the 1,000 slots originally allotted there, according to a City Hall spokesperson.
"We're going to blitz this week," Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a Thursday news conference. "This is going to be a very intense weekend. We're actually adding capacity at a lot of our sites because we have extra vaccine now for this week."
