BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Most meetings and events may be virtual nowadays, but there's still plenty going on in Bayside and Douglaston.

Patch has compiled a list of events for neighbors to mark on their calendars. From community meetings to family events, here are the dates to know for the week of March 1.

Local Meetings & Events

Monday, March 1: Queens Community Board 11 hosts a virtual monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m., which will feature public hearings on two rezoning applications and a motion asking for a study of street safety along Utopia Parkway. Click here for more information.

Around Queens

Queens Public Library presents an interview with Kalisha "Fly" Carmichael, the CEO and founder of Boss Blend Coffee Co., on leadership and breaking barriers, in honor of Women's History Month. The discussion at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, will be livestreamed on Instagram here.

The Municipal Art Society and the nonprofit NYC H2O host a virtual tour of the Ridgewood Reservoir on Sunday, March 7. Tickets cost $25 and are available here.
